Ever since I can remember I've made things with my hands. It’s as if must work with my hands or I don’t exist. I tried pottery, painting, weaving, and sculpting, but there is something uniquely exciting and intimate about making something to be worn on a living body instead of hung on a wall. There is nothing more satisfying than taking raw material and transforming it into something useful or beautiful. The bonus is it is displayed on a living, moving, changing being. What a compliment and a joy to be part of so many vibrant lives! I hope to continue working with my hands until they cease to function!
